QuietStrength (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we handle information within the QuietStrength app and on our website https://quietstrength.uk.

QuietStrength helps you privately track your fitness journey through progress photos and health metrics stored securely on your iPhone.

1. Information we collect

The QuietStrength app stores the following information only on your device:

Photos you capture inside the app
Health and fitness data you allow access to (e.g. weight, body fat %, muscle mass, steps, sleep) via Apple HealthKit
Optional daily journal notes you write

None of this information is uploaded, shared, or synced to our servers.

The QuietStrength website collects minimal analytics and form information (if you submit it) such as your name, email address, or cookies necessary for site operation.

2. How we use your data

Your data is used only to display your personal progress in the app.
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.
All information remains on your device, within Apple’s secure HealthKit and Photo frameworks.
We do not and cannot track, sell, or transmit any personal information.
HealthKit data is accessed read-only with your explicit consent.
Photos are stored locally in the app’s private storage, not in your photo library or the cloud.

3. HealthKit

QuietStrength integrates with Apple HealthKit solely to read relevant fitness data that you choose to share.

To gather these measurements, you may choose to connect compatible devices such as:

Apple Watch (for steps, sleep, heart rate, and energy data)
Smart scales (for body weight, body fat percentage, and muscle mass)

No HealthKit or Photo data is stored on our servers so cannot be shared with any third party.

Apple requires that HealthKit data never be used for advertising or marketing. We fully comply with that rule.

4. Data sources

QuietStrength can display data collected by compatible devices connected to Apple Health, such as an Apple Watch or smart scales.
We do not communicate with these devices directly, all information is securely read through Apple HealthKit after you grant permission.

5. Security

The QuietStrength app uses Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode to restrict access.

All data stays encrypted within your device’s iOS sandbox.

Deleting the app permanently removes all your photos and stats.

6. Your rights

Because QuietStrength does not collect or store data externally, there’s nothing we can access, export, or delete on your behalf.

You control all your data locally and can remove it at any time by deleting the app.

8. Changes
